The first example in this book is when percy says "I had the urge to resist to sit up straight and say yes mam" ( Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse 24 )The reason this is an example is because a moral of respect is to say yes mam and sit up. Percy is wanting to do the opposite of his moral and is wanting to do resit sitting straight up and saying yes mam.
Second Example in Percy Jackson and the Titans Curse
In Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse one more example is when percy is saying to persuade a character that camp is cool. Percy says " Camp is cool! its got a pegasus stable and a sword fighting arena" Ethos also involves when a character is trying to persuade a someone to do something or go somewhere like in this case percy is trying to convince a character to go to camp.

He is persuading the character by saying the cool things about camp and how camp is so cool and some of the features. In the first one He is going against his morals This ties it all up by showing how he went against his morals and how he persuaded someone to go to camp and giving certain features about camp saying how it has a pegasus stable and how their sword fighting arenas.
